About Us
Restoration Specialists, Inc. (RSI), specializes in waterproofing, caulking, deck coatings, fluid applied air barriers, architectural expansion joints, resinous flooring, concrete / masonry repair, and restoration of commercial and industrial buildings for general contractors as well as private owners. RSI was founded by Elizabeth Traut Bosio and John E. Bosio as a full service commercial and industrial division 7 restoration company in 1990.
RSI has a full time staff of 50 employees including 17 Foremen with an average of 24 years of experience in the industry. RSI performs work in Colorado and Wyoming with most of our projects concentrated in the front range of Colorado from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs.
Notable projects completed in the Denver area include the Boulder Historic Depot at Pearl Junction, The Westin at DIA, the Four Seasons, Tivoli Student Center Renovation on the Auraria Campus, Coors Field, The Pepsi Center, the Wellington E. Webb Office Building, Exempla Good Samaritan Hospital, The Broncos Practice Facility at Dove Valley, The Denver Botanic Gardens, and the exterior restoration of the Governor’s Mansion and Colorado State Capital.
Our Team
Bio – Andrew M. Bosio, President
Andrew was born and raised in Colorado in a third generation construction industry family. He graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder and holds a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and a minor in Real Estate. He is active in the community serving and supporting as capacity allows, for various local organizations including BalSwan Children’s Center and the Broomfield Community Foundation.
When not at work or lending time in the community, Andrew can be found outdoors hunting, fishing, exploring, riding bikes, or kayaking with his kids.
Rich Ward, Director of Field Operations
With over 20yrs of experience, Rich has previously lead the RSI below grade waterproofing team, as well as most recently, in charge of Scheduling Operations. Rich, over the past twenty years has carried nearly every industry related certification from waterproofing, to exterior skins including witnessing and participating in the birth of the air barrier industry and AABA certifications.
John E. Bosio, Lead Estimator and Field Engineering Consultant
John E. Bosio is the lead estimator and field engineering consultant. Born and raised in Wisconsin, he arrived in Colorado in 1982 to manage a general construction firm expanding from Wisconsin. John is responsible for pre-construction services and estimating. John is also very active in the metro Denver community. He most recently is the President of the Board of Directors for Flatirons Habitat for Humanity as well as for Anchor House. He has chaired multiple multi million dollar capital campaigns and offers free consultation to local non profit groups with building and maintenance needs.
